It is being directed by Vijayabhaskar. Bellamkonda Suresh is the presenter and Sakhamuri Panduranga Rao, the producer. Director Vijayabhaskar said that the film was a family entertainer with comedy as its lifeline.
Jagapathi Babu features in the film as a police officer in a special appearance. The film would hit the screens by May, the director said. Tarun, who plays a thief’s son, said that this was his second film with director Vijayabhaskar after Nuvve Kavali.
“When I was a child artiste I played Jagapathi Babu’s son in Pillalu Diddina Kapuram. Now I have got the opportunity to act with him as an adult,” said Tarun.
Jagapathi Babu agreed that after 18 years he and Tarun had got together again to do a film. Lead actress Ileana too sounded thrilled about the film as also at the opportunity to act with Tarun and Jagapathi Babu.
The unit would now go to New Zealand to can the songs. Producer Sakhamuri Panduranga Rao said that the audio would be released soon and the title of the film would be announced on the same occasion

Actress Illiana has decided to avoid roles that require her to expose unnecessarily on screen and refused quite a few offers.
Ileana's refusal led to speculation that she has become extra careful about her choice of roles. Her about-to-be-released films and her forthcoming films are a result of this policy decision.
'I am looking at working with those makers only whom I can count upon for being aesthetic in their depiction of roles. I have realized that even the slightest of exposure, if not portrayed aesthetically, can send wrong signals. I don't think anyone should have a problem with that,' said Ileana.
However, she clarifies that saying no to skin show does not mean she has given up on looking hot and glamorous. 'It is the need of the hour and you can't afford not to be glamorous in this age. There's a new word called 'hot' that has been coined by the industry and any actress worth her substance has to qualify for this word. I don't intend to do otherwise.'
Ileana's bold and sizzling performance in 'Devadasu' and 'Pokiri' gave her the tag of a 'hot and sexy' actress, who had no inhibitions about looking hot on screen. Besides, Prabhas's 'Munna' and 'Jadhoo', Ileana has a couple of offers yet to be finalized.
But the girl seems to have learned the filmy tantrums with a mere two hits.
